Ometepe is an islands in the Republic of Nicaragua

Ometepe is an island divided by two volcanoes rising from Lake Nicaragua in the Republic of Nicaragua. The volcanoes, Concepcion and Maderas, are joined by a low isthmus to form a single island, giving it the form of an hourglass. Ometepe has an area of 276 km². It is 31 km long and 5 to 10 km wide.
Two of Nicaragua's most spectacular volcanoes are situated right on Ometepe Island. Once you're there, explore the volcanoes by horse back or on foot. The first volcano, and the most popular, is the active Concepcion Volcano. The volcano is over 1500 meters high and is a beautiful sight to see when you're taking a boat ride around Lake Nicaragua.The island has a population of 35,000, and an economy based on livestock, agriculture, and tourism. Plantains are the major crop. there are many types of wildlife in this lush part of Isla de Ometepe. Monkeys and large blue birds called urracas are very common. Although you may picture monkeys to be cute and friendly animals, do be careful when you encounter them. They're known to bite, scratch, and throw mud and other undesirable things at tourists.

The Ometepe Island is one of the most impressive sights in Nicaragua and a not-to-be-missed place to visit. There are beautiful rivers and waterfalls to swim in and a visit to a coffee or banana plantation is worth your time. Lake Nicaragua surrounding it makes for an excellent water sports destination. The Cocos Islands are located in the Indian Ocean at latitude 12°10' south and longitude 96°52' east. They are 2,950 km north-west of Perth 3,700 km west of Darwin and 900 km south-west of Christmas Island. It also called Cocos Islands and Keeling Islands.The Cocos (Keeling) Islands consist of two flat, low-lying coral atolls with an area of 14.2 square kilometres (5.5 sq mi), 2.6 kilometres (1.6 mi) of coastline, a highest elevation of 5 metres (16 ft) and thickly covered with coconut palms and other vegetation.
North Keeling Island is an atoll consisting of just one C-shaped island, a nearly closed atoll ring with a small opening into the lagoon, about 50 metres (160 ft) wide, on the East side. The lagoon is about 0.5 square kilometres The island measures 1.1 square kilometres in land area and is uninhabited.
South Keeling Islands is an atoll consisting of twenty-six individual islets forming an incomplete atoll ring, with a total land area of 13.1 square kilometres (5.1 sq mi). Only Home Island and West Island are populated.
